Sysoeva Tennis Academy

We’ve been part of Sysoeva Tennis Academy for about 2.5 years, since my son was 7, and the progress he has made has been incredible. He started with absolutely zero tennis experience, and recently he was able to win an U10 Orange Ball tournament - something that would have seemed impossible when we first started! Kate and her team are incredibly meticulous about developing the right skills and technique. They focus on every detail of the strokes and movement, and over time those skills have become natural for my son. Beyond tennis technique, they work on physical strength, agility, coordination, and, importantly, the mental side of the game. Another thing we really love is that the training happens in groups, which creates a fun, engaging, and motivating environment for the kids. They learn from each other, have fun together, and naturally push themselves when they see their peers improving and getting better. There is a great balance between teamwork, friendly competition, and individual development. What I especially appreciate is that Kate understands that developing a young tennis player involves the whole family - including helping parents learn how to support their kids th

Coach Kate has been working with my child since she was five and a half, and we couldn't be happier. Her professional approach is evident in everything she does—starting with great discipline and moving through all the essential physical fundamentals. She builds a strong base for young athletes and her focus on technique is outstanding. What truly sets her apart is how she makes learning fun; the kids are genuinely driven and stay motivated as a team. The energy on the court is always positive and highly encouraging.

I have worked with many tennis coaches throughout the years, and by far I saw my best results working with the Sysoeva team. They greatly improved my technique, footwork, and consistency on the court. I was especially struggling with point play and the mental side of tennis, and they helped me see and understand the game from a completely different perspective. Their coaching gave me a much clearer understanding of tennis and helped elevate my overall game. Thank you for all of your guidance and support.

3 of my children have been training with Sysoeva Academy for almost 5 years and their tennis has improved so much. They are often complimented on their clean technique by other coaches. My kids really enjoy working with all of the coaches at Sysoeva…they all have an impressive tennis background and really understand junior tennis. As a parent, I really appreciate that they expect their students to work hard and Coach Kate especially, will push them to their potential. The kids also have fun at practice so there is a good balance. Most of all, we can tell that the coaches here really want their students to succeed. We drive over an hour to practice but the training here is worth it!

My daughter had never really played tennis before, and Kate made her feel completely comfortable from day one. She has a real gift for connecting with kids — figured out exactly where to start and made every session count. We’ve seen genuine improvement in both her technique and her confidence on the court. If you’re looking for a coach who truly gets young players, Kate is the one. Highly recommend!
